General Fund Budget
The total general fund budget adopted for 2016, in the amount of $520,459.00, includes no millage increase keeping the Borough's Real Estate tax levy at 2.0 mills. (The "Tax Levy for 2016" Ordinance is posted above.)
The Liquid Fuels budget in the amount of $60,000.00 is based on the estimated allocation figure received from PennDOT for year 2016 and the Borough's estimated starting balance as of Jan. 1, 2016. Liquid Fuels funds are generally designated for expenses related to snow removal from Borough streets. Snow removal expenses for the 2014-2015 winter season totaled $76,913.00.
